Lesson 1: Dressing Timber:

With the advent of technology, dressing timber has become a lost art. Turning a rough sawn piece of timber into something smooth and square is more difficult than it looks. The art of dressing timber, as well as the use of several hand tools, is demonstrated in Richard’s first class.

Lesson 2: Halving Joint:

This lesson focuses on producing the perfect halving joint using the dressed piece from Lesson 1.

Richard also introduces more tools to the viewer.
