Team Building

This is a Team Building exercise for any company or business maximum of 10 adults.

It is a group exercise that helps people work together to achieve a common goal. The Groups of 4-8 people contribute to produce "An A4 Size Corporate Wooden Box" for each team member of the group.

Each member goes back to their job with a finished A4 size box.

Teams of 4 -8 people come to the School of Fine Woodwork for 1 Friday only (Book 2 weeks in advance), and the timber is cut up ready to be assembled and glued together. The team work together to clamp and produce 1 box each, helping each other while the glue sets in 1 hour, once the team has clamped all the boxes together, they have lunch.

Lunch is a Sausage Sizzle Barbie, run by Adam and those who have finished their box, with sausages, buns, onions, cheese, sauces, juice & fizzy drinks, tea, coffee & biscuits.

After lunch, the boxes have been clamped and the glue has set. They are ready for sanding by all individuals and to be cut open by Adam Crosland on the bench saw. No machines, except the disk sander are to be used by the team members, only power & hand tools. The box is completed by each member, and lightly coated with a satin finish. Every team member is rewarded for their hard work by taking their own Corporate Box back to work with them, to show the boss how well they have worked as a team.

The day only costs $100 per adult. Invoice is provided for tax purposes.

School Holiday Package

The School Holiday packages are for students at High School only, years 9-12. Ages 15 onwards.

This package is designed for students to improve their hand tool skills, while they are on school holidays. These skills would help students at any stage of their high school education, or TAFE students looking for somewhere to work on a project.

Students are able to use a range of excellent quality hand tools, a few power tools and selected machinery. Options are available to continue an appropriate course, after this 1-day package has been completed. They are given different exercises of varied levels of difficulty over a 5 hour period.

Lunch is included from Sausage Sizzle, juice, tea & coffee, the course runs for similar hours to school.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays from 10.00am - 3.30pm.

Cost is $75.00 per person per day.

All materials and lunch/drinks included, projects are finished to take home.
